Acton Kitchen Gets Water Damage to Floor
Just glancing at this photo of an Acton kitchen, the water damage is not readily apparent. However, heavy rains and roof damage to this home brought water into the house through the ceiling that affected this kitchen. SERVPRO techs used their moisture detection equipment and determined although the water did not migrate throughout the property, there was a great deal of seepage under the tile. SERVPRO techs needed to remove the tiles up where the engineered floorboards began in the dining room to dry the subfloor. As seen in the After Photo, the techs needed to move the fridge and toe kicks around the cabinets to extract and dry this kitchen. Fortunately for the homeowner, the water did not affect underneath the cabinets, and they remained in place.
